At Advanced Surgical Technology in Centralia and Herrin, we are a multidisciplinary practice that delivers treatments for vascular surgery, general surgery, primary care, cosmetics, and aesthetics. Every treatment we deliver is customized to match individual needs. Your journey to better health or aesthetic enhancement will be pleasant, personal, and warm.

Primary care
Your primary care provider should be a medical professional who cares about you as an individual, understands your health history, and is always available to assist you. Our primary care providers are focused on providing individualized care, comprehensive treatments, and caring for the health of you and your family throughout all the years ahead.
General surgery
Our skilled surgeons, scrub techs, FA's and Nurse Practitioners are credentialed through several hospitals in Southern Illinois as well as Surgical Centers and our office based lab. Surgical procedures include but are not limited to gallbladder removal, removal of the appendix, hernia repairs, colorectal surgery, excisions, thyroid surgery, carotid surgery, wound debridement, and amputations.
Vascular surgery
We specialize in vascular treatments and can treat a range of vascular conditions and diseases. We offer in-office vascular imaging, intravascular ultrasound, peripheral angiogram, aneurysm repair, carotid angiograms, venograms, thrombectomy, fistulagrams, HD catheters, Central venous port placements and more.
Endoscopy
AST’s Centralia and Herrin locations are now offering Esophagogastroduodenoscopy and Colonoscopy in the office based lab. Please contact one of our surgery locations for more details. If you are not from this area, our surgeons also are credentialed and have privileges at several surgery centers as well as hospitals throughout Southern Illinois, our staff will help you find a location and date that fits your schedule.
Aesthetic treatments
At Advanced Surgical Technology, we offer a range of aesthetic services, including Aerolase laser treatments, spider vein removal, BOTOX, Juvéderm, Kybella injections, and Latisse to stimulate the growth of thicker, lusher lashes.
Our medical-grade skincare lines include Environ Skincare and the SkinMedica line.
